In our pursuit of excellence, ALA achieved accreditation with Cognia in 2023. ALA has also achieved System Accreditation in 2025.
Accreditation is the launchpad for school improvement, advancing educational leadership through a commitment to continuous growth and excellence. Based on rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, the process probes the whole institution—from policies to learning conditions and cultural context—to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of every learner.
Accreditation isn’t about passing a one-time inspection—it helps ALA School meet improvement goals and sustain commitments to better learner outcomes. We hope to help our students in DFW area, in the United States, and all other countries, pursue excellence in their academic goals.
For Muslim families comparing private schools in Texas, Oklahoma, and North Carolina, Cognia accreditation means your child’s diploma carries the same weight as any other accredited school in the country. Colleges recognize it. Employers recognize it. And for families who want strong academics alongside Islamic values, it removes the concern that choosing a faith-based school means compromising on academic standards.
